For players looking to add some new items to their collection without spending real money, the Inner Beast Collection Event offers a variety of free rewards. By completing challenges from the “Event Challenges” tab in the main lobby, players can earn Event Points (EP) to unlock character cosmetics, in-game currency, and more. These free reward track cosmetics are designed to match the premium Collection Event cosmetics, providing players with a cohesive set of items to enjoy.
In addition to the free rewards, the Inner Beast Collection features 24 premium cosmetic items that can be obtained through various methods. Players can purchase these items directly with Apex Coins or craft them using Crafting Metals. Alternatively, players can opt to open Inner Beast Event Packs for a chance to unlock these exclusive items. Each Event Pack costs 700 AC and guarantees one random item from the Inner Beast Collection, along with two items from the evergreen loot pool.
To unlock Octane’s new butterfly knife and complete the Octane’s Prototype Heirloom Set, players will need to collect all 24 Inner Beast Collection cosmetics. The most cost-effective way to do this is by using Crafting Metals to craft Epic-tier items and then purchasing the remaining cosmetics through Event Packs. By following this method, players can secure the entire set for less than 16,800 AC.
