Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a challenging game that some players may find difficult. However, developer PlatinumGames has recently shared a trick that may help players unlock the game’s highest difficulty setting immediately without completing the story.

The Platinum Code

The game’s director, Abebe Tinari, recently shared a video explaining how players can unlock the game’s highest difficulty setting, called ‘Forbidden Tale.’ Players can do this by entering a ‘Platinum Code’ into the main menu. The code is simply ‘↑ ↓ ← → X B Y A,’ and players will hear a short jingle to confirm that the entry was successful.

Forbidden Tale Mode

Once players have entered the Platinum Code, they can enjoy Bayonetta Origins on a higher difficulty setting right from the start. In the ‘Forbidden Tale’ mode, players will be unable to use the game help settings, enemies will be more numerous, and they will inflict more damage. This mode is perfect for players who are looking for a satisfying challenge.

It is unclear why PlatinumGames did not share this information when Bayonetta Origins was initially released in March. However, if you are yet to try the game for yourself and are looking for a challenge, then it might be worth giving this trick a go. Unlocking the highest difficulty setting from the start will provide players with a more challenging and satisfying experience.
