The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is filled with hidden quests and secrets waiting to be uncovered. One such secret quest is the search for the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty 1R-ONC-LAD software locations throughout the stadium in Dogtown. As players embark on this secret quest, they are led to believe that they will end up with a robot companion. However, this quest is not noted down in their journal and is conducted almost exclusively through text messages with a malfunctioning robot named Ironclad. In this article, we will explore the locations of the software and the reward that awaits those who complete this secret quest.

To begin this quest, players must first locate Ironclad. Ironclad can be found in the black market, which players can access during the Phantom Liberty intro. Once inside the black market, head towards the weapons shop with the orange pistol sign on the balcony. From there, drop down from the balcony and take a left, passing the food vendor and vending machines. Players will then come across a green shipping container with a blue tarpaulin above it, on top of an overturned red shipping container. Ironclad is situated in the corner of this area, next to a laptop. Players should connect their phone to the laptop, allowing Ironclad to be added as a contact. Ironclad will then initiate communication through a jumbled text message and a picture of a white crate in front of some shelves.

The first location players must find is a shop called deBUTCHERy. From Ironclad’s location, players must turn around and head back the way they came, passing the doorway they entered the black market through. Upon reaching the top of the stairs with a large pile of garbage on the right and three flamingos on the left, players should cross the walkway. The white crate will be in front of them, next to deBUTCHERy. Players should collect the robot software from the crate and inform Ironclad. Ironclad will then send another text, requesting the backup power management module, and players must transfer the data to him.

The second software location is indicated by an image sent by Ironclad, showing a box on top of some huge green trauma team crates. Players should head to the nearest medical vendor, which is located near the first software location. To reach the second location, players must return to the walkway where they found the first software and go through the hole in the wall at the top of the stairs. They should follow the lit up arrows into the clinic, where the software can be found to the left of the vendor. Players should transfer this data to Ironclad, who will then provide another transcript and reveal the third location, which is situated at the bottom of a box next to some armaments.

To find the third software location, players must leave the clinic and take a left to go back down the stairs. There, they will find a gun shop with orange signs in front of them. The software is located in a box in the back corner of the shop, possibly with someone leaning on it. Players should transfer the software to Ironclad, who will send another transcript and reveal the fourth location.

The image for the fourth location depicts a crate underneath a green light, hidden behind other boxes. To reach this location, players should head to the other weapons shop in the black market, which is past the clinic and deBUTCHERy. Upon entering the weapons store, players will find a John Wick easter egg in the back right corner. However, for the robot software, they must go to the back left corner and locate the software in front of a crate marked border patrol. Once again, players should transfer this data to Ironclad, who will send the usual transcript and unveil the fifth and final location.

For the fifth location, players must return to the starting point of the quest, near Ironclad’s location. Instead of approaching Ironclad’s crate, players should take a left and go down the stairs, passing an armored tank and Arasaka advertisements. They will come across a noodle bar, behind which the robot software is hidden behind the counter and to the right, underneath an advertising pillar. Players should collect the software and then return to Ironclad.

Upon returning to Ironclad, players will find him standing up, ready to confront them. Players can jack into the laptop and discover three files that provide context to the previous transcripts. These files reveal that Erwin Kirsch, a Barghest employee, restored Ironclad, who was originally paid for by Kurt Hansen, the dictator in charge of Dogtown. Ironclad was sold into slavery by Hansen’s goons, Murphy and Bennett, before Erwin tried to rescue him. With the software installed and Ironclad restored, players have three options: wiping the robot’s memory, leaving the robot be, or reprogramming the robot with a minimum intelligence level of 15. Wiping Ironclad’s memory locks players out of the quest reward, so it is not recommended. Those without 15 intelligence can leave Ironclad be and return later. However, those who reprogram Ironclad will be treated to a guitar performance and, after waiting a few days, receive a text message with a sixth location.

The sixth location is within the stadium concourse. Players should head to the second gun shop, where they found the fourth software location, then climb the opposite stairs and go behind the statue. This will lead them outside, where they must follow the path to the end and find their reward – an engineer skill shard and approximately $2,000 – inside a crate. However, the story does not end there. If players return to Ironclad, they will discover that he lured Erwin Kirsch to his location, resulting in Erwin’s demise. This epilogue provides closure to the quest, leaving players to reflect on the consequences of their choices.

The quest for Ironclad’s software locations in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty provides players with an intriguing secret quest and a unique storyline to follow. By carefully exploring the stadium concourse, players can uncover the hidden software locations and uncover the truth behind Ironclad’s troubled history. The choices made along the way ultimately determine the fate of Ironclad and the rewards received. So, embark on this quest and see what lies in store for your V in the dark and futuristic world of Cyberpunk 2077.
