Disney+ has recently announced the availability of the second batch of Marvel and Star Wars shows for preorder on 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray. These four new releases are set to arrive on April 30th and include popular titles such as The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Moon Knight, Star Wars: Andor, and Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi. Just like the first batch of Disney+ Blu-rays released last year, these shows come in exclusive collectible steelbook packaging and are accompanied by three art cards.

At the moment, preorders are only live at Walmart, and pricing appears to be a bit unusual. Interestingly, two of the shows are currently priced higher on standard Blu-ray compared to their 4K counterparts. The 4K editions of these shows are priced at $45 each, which is actually $10 less than the list prices of previous releases such as The Mandalorian, Loki, and WandaVision. However, it is worth noting that these prices may change, as Walmart’s Blu-ray prices commonly fluctuate in the days following the availability of preorders.

Let’s take a closer look at each of the four upcoming releases:

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Collection

The collection follows the adventures of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray versions come with a steelbook case and art cards. Additionally, the physical release includes bonus features such as the Cap’s Shield featurette, a gag reel, deleted scenes, and Assembled: The Making of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The 4K Blu-ray edition is priced at $45, while the standard Blu-ray version costs $40.

Moon Knight Season 1

Following in the footsteps of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, the Moon Knight collection is available in 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray steelbook editions. Along with the complete first season, buyers will receive bonus content including a featurette on the Egyptian mythology that inspired Moon Knight, a documentary on the making of the show, deleted scenes, a gag reel, and three art cards. The 4K Blu-ray edition is currently priced at $45, with the standard version listed at $49.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Saga

Set a decade after Revenge of the Sith, this series follows the journey of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi on a new adventure. Both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray steelbook collections include the complete run of the show along with a variety of featurettes, such as director’s commentary from Deborah Chow and insights into the lore behind the Inquisitors and Darth Vader. The steelbook edition is priced at $45 for the 4K Blu-ray and $40 for the standard Blu-ray.

Andor’s Release

The final series receiving a physical release is Andor, which includes the complete first season in both 4K UHD and Blu-ray steelbook collections. The set also comes with three art cards and five unique featurettes, delving into the stories of ISB agent Dedra and discussing the origins of the Andor series. The 4K Blu-ray edition is available for preorder at $45, while the standard Blu-ray is currently listed at $49.

If you can’t wait for these upcoming releases, you can also explore the existing collection of Disney Plus shows that have made the jump to Blu-ray.
