The upcoming game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is set to be released on May 12th, and an official strategy guide will be available to help players navigate through the game. The guidebook, with a whopping 496 pages, will be available in two editions: a softcover edition and a hardback collector’s edition. Preorders for both editions are now open on Amazon, however, the collector’s edition could sell out quickly, so it’s best to order ahead of time.

The official strategy guide offers a complete walkthrough of the game, including every puzzle solution, an atlas of Hyrule, and an in-depth look at every enemy. It’s perfect for players who want to achieve a 100% save file in Tears of the Kingdom. The guidebook promises to be convenient to use as a reference point, as well.

The publication date is listed as June 16th on Amazon, but this may just be a placeholder date, and the guidebook may arrive sooner. With Amazon’s preorder price guarantee, you will receive the guides for the lowest price offered between the time you order and release.

The hardback collector’s edition guidebook features an exclusive design with a circular pattern that matches the back of the special-edition Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED. The book has a gold emblem in the center, featuring the Master Sword, which has seen better days. It’s worth noting that the collector’s edition guidebook for Breath of the Wild was hard to find at the retail price after the game’s launch.

The standard edition comes with a softcover featuring the box art of the game. Outside of the different binding and cover design, the standard edition is the exact same. Since the guidebook is roughly 500 pages, it’s very likely that the collector’s edition will hold up better over time, especially if you plan on using it frequently.
