EA’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has taken the top spot in the latest UK boxed charts. According to GamesIndustry.biz’s Chris Dring, the action-adventure sequel has become the second-biggest launch of the year so far. It has beaten Capcom’s Resident Evil 4, but couldn’t surpass Hogwarts Legacy.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Drops Out of Top Ten
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has fallen out of the top ten on the Switch charts, coming in at 17th place this week. Although the game debuted in third place following its launch on April 21st, 2023, the franchise’s relatively niche appeal compared to other Nintendo IPs has caused a drop in its position. Nevertheless, it is a relief that the game is finally available for gamers to enjoy.
Business as Usual in the Top Ten
The top ten games in the charts remain largely unchanged from the previous week, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey retaining their positions. However, Minecraft, specifically the Switch version, has climbed up to position seven.
