Last weekend at the Pokémon World Championships, fans were treated to another exciting trailer for the highly anticipated DLC of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Nintendo has since been recapping all the thrilling details on social media, providing fans with extra insights and content to keep them engaged. One of the recent highlights shared by Nintendo is a brand new graphic featuring the returning “partner Pokémon” from each generation.

Fans of the franchise will be delighted to see their favorite “starters” making a comeback in the DLC. From classic favorites like Charmander to more recent additions like Grookey, these beloved Pokémon will be returning in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2, titled “The Indigo Disk,” set to launch in winter 2023. Nintendo has also provided an explanation of how trainers can add these starters to their own party:

“In #PokemonScarletViolet Part 2: The Indigo Disk, first partner Pokémon from past titles are appearing in the Terarium housed within Blueberry Academy! Clear missions given to you by the school and you’ll get the chance to see first partner Pokémon as they live in the wild.”

This exciting opportunity allows trainers to not only witness these partner Pokémon in their natural habitat but also engage in battles with them. By successfully defeating them, trainers will have the chance to add them to their own team. Additionally, Nintendo promises that players will get to experience the Terastal phenomenon, a familiar feature for those who have played #PokemonScarletViolet, with these old friends.

The graphic shared by Nintendo showcases each and every one of the partner Pokémon making a return in the DLC. From the iconic Bulbasaur and Squirtle to the fiery Charmander and the water-loving Totadile, fans will undoubtedly be thrilled to reunite with these nostalgic creatures. The graphic also includes popular selections like Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Treecko, as well as more recent introductions such as Piplup, Tepig, and Froakie.

As if that wasn’t enough, players will also be greeted by newer additions to the franchise, including Litten, Rowlett, and Sobble. The DLC truly aims to cater to the fans’ desires for both classic and contemporary Pokémon choices, with familiar faces like Mudkip, Torchic, and Oshawott also making their return.

An Exciting Winter Awaits

With the upcoming release of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s DLC, fans have a lot to look forward to. The return of the “partner Pokémon” brings back cherished memories and allows trainers to relive their favorite moments in the Pokémon universe. The addition of these nostalgic creatures to players’ teams will undoubtedly create new and exciting strategies, making battles even more thrilling.

As winter 2023 approaches, trainers around the world eagerly await the release of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2 “The Indigo Disk.” It promises to be an immersive experience, giving players the chance to explore the Terarium and encounter their favorite Pokémon in a whole new light.
