The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released three weeks ago, and since then, Nintendo has been working hard to patch item duplication glitches that players have been exploiting. Despite patches being released, players continue to find new ways to duplicate items. A new item duplication glitch has been discovered and is being referred to as the “easiest” yet.
The Glitch
The new item duplication glitch involves taking Link to Tobio’s Hollow Chasm and using a multi-shot bow. The glitch was demonstrated in a video by Gaming Reinvented, which shows that all players need to do is fire off some arrows with some fused materials towards the bottom of the stalactite. The arrows disappear, but the items fused to each arrow are suspended in mid-air. Players need to run towards the items and catch them before they roll down the cave. There are ways to stop the items from rolling down the cave, as demonstrated by Kibbles Gaming.
Testing the Glitch
The glitch has been tested by Nintendo Life with two different bows and multiple different items, including Lynel horns, precious stones, bomb flowers, and bananas. Nintendo Life has confirmed that the glitch works. However, players should note that Tobio’s Hollow Chasm can’t be accessed until they are in the late stages of the story and have progressed the ‘Guidance from Ages Past’ Main Quest. The video by Gaming Reinvented contains a few spoilers, such as characters and locations, so players should avoid watching it unless they are right before the ‘final dungeon’ of the game or don’t mind small spoilers.
