Diablo 4’s Collector’s Editions have been sent out to Diablo partners and content creators, and now we finally get to see what collectible items the coveted edition holds. There are three editions available for pre-order, and the most expensive version, the Collector’s Edition, features a host of collectibles that fans will love.
Unboxing Video
Diablo partner and streamer Wudijo was one of the first to receive the Collector’s Edition, and they recorded an unboxing video on YouTube so that fans can admire the edition vicariously. The video showcases the impressive size of the box, which arrives in a chest with all the Diablo-themed livery you’d expect.
Collector’s Edition Contents
The Collector’s Edition includes an art book, a recreation of the Candle of Creation (which is an electric one that can be used anywhere safely), a mouse pad, a collectible pin, two striking art prints, and a stunning cloth map of Sanctuary. Wudijo stopped short of sharing much of the art book for fear of imparting accidental spoilers, but he did take a couple of moments to flip through the 300+ page tome to show off some of the artwork within.
Diablo 4 Campaign
After confusion over whether players would need to complete Diablo 4’s campaign to unlock mounts, Blizzard confirmed that mounts will be unlocked through completing a questline “as you progress naturally through the main story campaign”. Diablo Global community developer director Adam Fletcher flagged on Twitter that a blog post that initially said mounts wouldn’t be available until after the campaign had been tweaked to clarify the unlock process.
Final Boss Encounter
Blizzard recently announced that Diablo 4’s Nightmare dungeons will scale beyond level 100, but there’s a final boss encounter that’s designed to be your character’s capstone. Consequently, the developer says that Diablo 4 “isn’t intended to be played forever”. With the game set to release on June 6th on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and last-gen console systems, fans are eagerly anticipating what’s in store.
