Developer 10:10 Games and Funko Inc. have recently unveiled Funko Fusion, a new third-person adventure game set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on September 13th. This game promises to bring together iconic characters from popular franchises such as Jurassic World, Back to the Future, The Thing, and even Hot Fuzz.

In Funko Fusion, players can expect to play as over 60 different characters, all of which are designed in the distinctive Funko Pop! big-head style. With characters from more than 20 different franchises, players will have the opportunity to explore familiar settings while unraveling an intriguing storyline.

While the game does follow a story-driven approach, there are unexpected elements such as gore that deviate from the typical Funko aesthetic. Unlike LEGO games, Funko Fusion seems to offer a more mature gaming experience without the presence of LEGO studs.

For early adopters, pre-order bonuses are available, including The Walking Dead Pack that adds Rick Grimes and Michonne as playable characters. These bonuses add an extra layer of excitement for fans who cannot wait to dive into the world of Funko Fusion.

As we await the release of Funko Fusion on the Nintendo Switch, it’s clear that this game aims to provide a unique gaming experience that blends familiar franchises with a fresh, Funko twist. From the diverse character lineup to the unexpected gameplay elements, Funko Fusion is shaping up to be an intriguing addition to the Nintendo Switch library. Fans of the included franchises will undoubtedly be eager to see how their favorite characters are reimagined in the Funko style.
