Exciting news for Nintendo Switch users who love arcade-style racing games – Gameloft has officially confirmed that Asphalt Legends Unite will be arriving on the eShop on 19th August. Originally set to release in July, this new expansion of the free-to-play title Asphalt 9: Legends was delayed for the Switch platform. However, to make up for the delay, Gameloft has announced that multiple gifts will be offered to Switch players upon release.
Asphalt Legends Unite is not just any ordinary update – it will be the first-ever chapter in the series to feature cross-platform gameplay. This means that players can enjoy racing against friends on other platforms, taking the competition to a whole new level. In addition to this exciting feature, players can also look forward to a new co-op game mode where two teams will face off in a thrilling police chase. The game engine has been improved, and there will be a brand new UI and in-game HUD for a fresh gaming experience.
Rewards and Gifts for Switch Players
Switch players can expect a generous amount of rewards upon the release of Asphalt Legends Unite. Some of the rewards include 30 Blueprints for the Nissan 370z Neon Edition, 10 Unite Launch I Packs, 10 Unite Launch II Packs, 750 Tokens, and 50,000 Credits. Players can also look forward to receiving daily login rewards and previously unreleased cars such as the Aston Martin DB12, Lotus E-R9, Maserati MC20 GT2, Nissan GT R Neon Edition, and McMurty Spierling.
In addition to the rewards mentioned above, all Nintendo Switch users will also receive special event packs to catch up with the Drive Syndicate and other missed events. These packs include Blueprints for the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Roadster and the Ultima RS, Drive Syndicate Coins, Tokens, and Credits. Furthermore, players will receive compensation for the Asphalt Bank resetting during their migration with 500 Tokens.
