Nintendo Direct recently unveiled a new Ace Attorney collection set to be released on various platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. This collection, known as Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, will feature remastered versions of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit. Notably, Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit will be localized in English for the first time as part of this collection.
One of the key features of the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is the ability to switch between newly redrawn character sprites or sticking with the original pixel art. Additionally, the collection will introduce a History feature for reviewing dialogue, a story mode that can auto-solve puzzles and investigations, a gallery mode, multi-language voice-overs for both games, and more.
Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is set to launch on September 6, with preorders already available. Those who preorder the collection will receive a special DLC pack containing five arranged tracks from the Ace Attorney Investigations 2 soundtrack. These songs can be used as background music during gameplay or enjoyed through the in-game gallery mode.
The standard edition of Ace Attorney Investigations Collection includes the base game along with the extra in-game music preorder bonus. While the game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, physical copies are currently only confirmed for the Switch version. Preorders for physical copies are open at Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop, while digital preorders are available on all platforms.
For fans looking to complete their Ace Attorney collection, there are other subseries to explore. This includes the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, all of which are available on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. While Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles have physical Switch editions, all three collections can be purchased digitally on all platforms. PC players can also find discounted Steam versions through Fanatical.
