Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the much-anticipated spiritual successor to the Suikoden RPG series, is set to launch on April 23 across all platforms. Preorders are now available, and fans are eager to secure their copies ahead of the release date to take advantage of various bonuses and discounts.

While Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox, it’s essential to consider the different versions and pricing options for each platform. PC players, for instance, can preorder the game at a discounted price of $39.49 on Fanatical, down from the usual $50 retail price. This preorder deal is exclusive to Fanatical and offers a 20% discount until the game officially launches.

Players who opt for digital preorders of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will receive bonus items such as the Early Bird Pack item bundle and the Headquarters Custom Object DLC. These preorder bonuses are available on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox, with the promise of becoming purchasable DLC content post-launch for all platforms. Additionally, there is a Digital Deluxe edition priced at $80, offering early access to the game starting on April 21, exclusive items, and other bonus content.

For console players, the standard edition of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is priced at $50 for PS5 and $60 for Nintendo Switch. However, the Switch version comes at a higher price and is set to release a month later than other platforms. Both the PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions lack preorder bonuses but can be preordered at major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. PlayStation Plus members can also save 10% on their preorder of the PS5 version.

Developed by Rabbit & Bear Studios, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes aims to continue the legacy of Suikoden with familiar gameplay elements and a rich, high fantasy world. The game features a large cast of 100 party members, a strategic turn-based battle system, and a stylized presentation blending 2D sprites with high-quality 3D environments akin to Square Enix’s HD-2D style. Despite the passing of Yoshitaka Murayama, the creator of both Eiyuden Chronicle and Suikoden, the team is dedicated to delivering a memorable experience for fans of the genre.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is shaping up to be a must-play title for RPG enthusiasts, offering a blend of nostalgic elements and modernized features. With various preorder options and exclusive bonuses available, players have the opportunity to delve into this exciting new adventure when it launches on April 23.
