During a recent visit to Computex 2024, I had the opportunity to explore Aerocool’s latest offerings, including new cases, coolers, fans, and power supplies. While the aesthetics of the power supplies may not be groundbreaking, what caught my attention was the company’s bold claim of extending the warranty period for its most recent models. Unlike the typical 10-year warranty offered by most manufacturers, Aerocool is introducing a 15-year warranty plan for its new power supply units.

One of the standout models with this extended warranty is the Max P1 1300/1000W. This power supply unit boasts an 80 Plus Platinum certification, featuring all Japanese capacitors, a large 135mm silent fluid dynamic bearing fan, and a substantial front grill. However, it’s worth noting that the design of the grill, with the fan and grill arm positioned parallel to each other, could potentially lead to increased noise levels, as highlighted by Noctua. Additionally, the Max P1 is manufactured by CWT, the same company responsible for producing many of Corsair’s acclaimed PSUs.

Aerocool’s power supply range spans across different 80 Plus ratings, ranging from platinum to gold and bronze models. These ratings not only reflect the efficiency levels of the PSUs but also determine the length of the warranty provided. While the top-tier models offer a generous 15-year warranty, the more budget-friendly options come with a 5-year warranty. Despite the varying warranty periods, Aerocool emphasizes that its offerings remain competitive across the entire product stack.

Even the entry-level Smart B1 PSU, equipped with an 80 Plus Bronze certification, comes with a commendable 7-year warranty. This highlights Aerocool’s commitment to providing customers with reliable products backed by extensive warranty coverage. The company’s focus on offering competitive warranty lengths throughout its entire range sets it apart in a crowded market filled with standard 10-year warranty offerings.

Aerocool’s decision to introduce extended warranty plans for its new power supply units marks a significant step towards enhancing consumer trust and confidence. With a range of models catering to different budget preferences and efficiency requirements, Aerocool is positioning itself as a compelling choice for consumers seeking both performance and peace of mind in their PSU investment.
