As a proud owner of six Amazon Echo smart speakers, it comes as a disappointment that the Echo Dot with Clock, my personal favorite, has been discontinued by Amazon. The fabric-covered LED dot matrix display of the Echo Dot with Clock made time easily accessible and added a touch of elegance to any room. However, Amazon has decided to replace this beloved model with a more expensive and less visually pleasing alternative.
The reason behind the discontinuation of the Echo Dot with Clock remains unclear. Initially, there were concerns about hidden defects in the product, as some users experienced issues like freezing and unresponsiveness. However, after receiving a replacement and going through multiple resets, the device started functioning properly again. Despite this, Amazon has chosen to discontinue the product without providing a clear explanation.
