Bandai Namco has revealed that it will be hosting a closed network test beta for its upcoming fighting game, Tekken 8. The announcement follows a Steam Store listing that hinted at the beta earlier this year.

Details of the Network Test Beta

The closed network test beta will be held over two sessions in July 2023, with the first session exclusive to PlayStation 5 players. The second session will be open to PC and Xbox Series X/S players, as well as PlayStation 5 players.

All of the characters that have been announced for Tekken 8 so far, including the newly revealed Claudio Serafino, will be available to play during the beta.

Those interested in participating in the beta can apply on the official website and select their preferred platform.

Session Dates and Times

The first session of the beta will begin on July 21, 2023, at 1:00 am PDT and end on July 24, 2023, at 12:00 am PDT. A maintenance period will run from July 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm PDT until July 22, 2023, at 4:00 am PDT.

The second session will begin on July 28, 2023, at 1:00 am PDT and end on July 31, 2023, at 12:00 am PDT. A maintenance period will run from July 29, 2023, at 1:00 pm PDT until July 22, 2023, at 4:00 am PDT.

How to Participate in the Network Test Beta

To participate in the network test beta, players need to apply on the official website and select their preferred platform. Successful applicants will receive an email with instructions on how to download and access the beta.
