Warner Bros. released a new trailer for The Flash at CinemaCon on Tuesday, featuring the Flash, Batman played by Michael Keaton, and Supergirl played by Sasha Calle in some exciting action-packed sequences. The trailer opens with Bruce Wayne discussing his passion for fighting crime, which stems from his parent’s murder. He admits to Barry Allen that he can never bring his parents back, but Barry has managed to do so through time travel. However, the consequences of this action result in the absence of the Justice League, forcing Barry to work alongside a parallel Batman, Supergirl, and himself to combat General Zod and other unknown forces.

The Director and Release Date

Director Andy Muschietti talked about bringing back Michael Keaton’s Batman after more than three decades. Muschietti revealed that Keaton was intrigued by the script and thrilled after reading it. The two had discussions about Bruce Wayne’s location after 30 years since Batman Returns. The Flash will be released in theaters on June 16, 2022, during a time of uncertainty for the DC Comics movieverse. James Gunn and Peter Safran were named the new heads of DC Films in October 2021, and the entire franchise is undergoing changes. The Flash’s multiverse plot allows for a reset of the universe, but the exact form of the reset remains unknown. However, it is clear that Batman will play a significant role in the movie, with two versions already featured in the trailer.

The trailer provides a glimpse of the epic CGI battle between Supergirl and two Flashes, promising to be a spectacle for audiences. The Flash movie is expected to be a hit, with fans eagerly anticipating its release.
