As summer approaches, Nintendo of America and Nékter Juice Bar have announced a partnership to bring Nintendo-themed ice cream flavours to over 200 locations in the United States. The ‘Skoop’ frozen treats are inspired by popular Nintendo franchises such as Mario, Splatoon, and Kirby and are vegan-friendly. The flavours available include Mario Kart Cookie Cruiser, Splatlands Birthday, and Kirby’s Berry Dream. In addition to the new flavours, customers also have a chance to win one of 25 Nintendo Switch Prize Packs, which come with a Switch OLED Model console and a download code for one of three popular Nintendo games.
Nintendo-themed flavours
The new flavours of ice cream will be available in over 200 Nékter Juice Bar locations across the US. The Mario Kart Cookie Cruiser flavour is a combination of cookie dough, blue spirulina, and Nékter’s coconut cream blend. Splatlands Birthday is a coconut cream blend with turmeric, topped with natural sprinkles. Kirby’s Berry Dream is a dreamy combination of strawberry puree and Nékter’s coconut cream blend. All flavours are vegan-friendly, making them accessible to a wider audience.
Gaming events
Nékter Juice Bar and Nintendo of America have also planned special gaming events at three of their locations during June. GameTruck will be on hand to host gaming opportunities for the three aforementioned Switch games: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 3, or Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. The events will take place on Saturday, June 3, at the Mercantile West location in Ladera Ranch, CA; Saturday, June 10, at the Uptown Plaza location in Phoenix, AZ; and Saturday, June 17, at The Boardwalk location in Cypress, TX. The events will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on each day.
