The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a popular game that avid gamers have been playing for some time now. It is an exciting game to play, but there is a particular character in the game that has caught the attention of many players. Addison, the construction worker, is the character that has stolen the hearts of many gamers.

Addison and His Mission

Addison is a construction worker who is out to support President Hudson of Hudson Construction. President Hudson has laid out rebuild materials all over Hyrule, and Addison has set out to spread the word of Hudson’s excellence by erecting a series of signs. The problem is that Addison is terrible at his job. He goes out with a sign that is too big without first thinking of a way to put it up. The player’s job is to fashion a support for the sign by any means possible so that it will be able to bear the weight of the Hudson propaganda while Addison hammers the foundations in.

It may seem like a simple job, but it has quickly become one of the favorite pastimes in Tears of the Kingdom. Players enjoy helping Addison because he is hilarious. He can be found struggling to put up a sign in Hyrule Field or shivering on the top of the Hebra Mountains or sweating in the Gerudo Desert. His pledged support becomes all the funnier when players see him in life-threatening weather conditions.

The Quest to Create the Most Crooked Supports

The first time that a player undertakes Addison’s request, they will build a structure so neat that the sign will sit perfectly parallel to the ground, just the way that Hudson would like it. However, players soon discover that Addison will often approve the sign regardless of the angle that they leave it at. This discovery begins the quest to create the most crooked supports that Hyrule has to offer.

Players balance barrels, wedge wheels, and precariously position pallets all in the hopes of seeing the signs fall just enough to make them laugh, but not so far as to be deemed a failure. It isn’t always easy, but for the most part, Addison is content as long as the sign isn’t leaning too far.

If it all comes crashing down, players can watch as Addison scrambles to pick up the poorly-balanced advertisement while profusely apologizing to the sign itself and pledging his continued support. When it’s a success, there are some very decent consumable rewards to be had. It’s a win-win situation.

In conclusion, Addison, the construction worker, has become a beloved character in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Players enjoy helping him, and his hilarious antics add a fun element to the game. Players may not be doing everything they can to help a world on the brink of collapse, but they are certainly having a great time. Addison may not be the hero that Hyrule deserves, but he is the one that it needs right now.
