Lost in Random, the cult fantasy adventure game, is set to receive a surprise sequel in 2025 titled Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. Developed by Thunderful, this upcoming title promises to take players on an exhilarating journey through a world filled with randomly generated challenges and unpredictable twists.

The sequel will follow The Queen of Random, also known as Aleksandra, as she navigates a perilous gauntlet of monstrous opponents and giant board games. Trapped in a looping purgatory, Aleksandra must join forces with her dice companion Fortune to combat dark forces and outwit a sinister Storyteller who seeks to control her fate.

Unlike its predecessor, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die appears to be more akin to a traditional roguelite game, drawing inspiration from popular titles such as Hades. Embracing randomness as a core mechanic, players can expect each playthrough to offer a unique and dynamic experience, with random dice rolls adding an element of unpredictability to combat.

Game director Martin Storm expressed excitement about the new direction the development team is taking with Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. By building upon the foundation of the original game while introducing fast-paced, action-packed gameplay, the team aims to deliver a fresh and engaging experience for both returning fans and newcomers alike.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is scheduled for release in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players can already wishlist the game on platforms like Steam in anticipation of its launch, eager to embark on a thrilling adventure through the world of Random once again.
