Fans of the popular indie game Cult of the Lamb have something to look forward to on 12 August 2024. The game is set to receive its first paid DLC called the Pilgrim Pack, promising an entirely new interactive comic tale that delves deeper into the world of Cult of the Lamb.
The Pilgrim Pack DLC, developed by Massive Monster in collaboration with writer JoJo Zhou and artist Carles Dalmau, will introduce players to a captivating story of mystery and intrigue. Players will follow Jalala and Rinor on their journey through the Lands of the Old Faith, facing perilous Cultists, terrifying creatures, and other dangers along the way.
Unlike the base game, the Pilgrim Pack offers a choice-based narrative experience, allowing players to influence the story as they guide the characters through various challenges. This expansion promises to provide a fresh new perspective on the lore and world of Cult of the Lamb.
New Content
In addition to the story-focused gameplay, the Pilgrim Pack will also bring new content to the base game. Players can expect two unique Follower quests, five new Follower forms, two new outfits for Followers, and five new decorations to enhance their gameplay experience.
Alongside the Pilgrim Pack, players can also look forward to the free base game Unholy Alliance DLC. This expansion will introduce local co-op play, new relics, Follower quests, tarot cards, fleeces, traits, buildings, craftables, and more, adding even more depth and replay value to the game.
To prepare players for the release of the Pilgrim Pack DLC, the pricing has been revealed for different regions. On Steam (PC), the DLC will cost AUD $10.49, NZD $10.49, USD $6.99, EUR €6.99, and GBP £5.99. Console pricing is yet to be confirmed but is expected to be in line with the PC pricing.
