Jabra has recently introduced an upgraded version of its Elite 10 and Elite 8 Active earbuds, now known as “Gen 2”. These new earbuds come with improvements in sound quality, noise cancellation, and other essential features. However, the standout feature of these new earbuds is the LE Audio charging case that accompanies them, allowing users to transmit audio from external devices to the buds.

Jabra is setting itself apart with the technology it is using in the Elite 10 and Elite 8 Gen 2. Both earbuds connect to the case over LE Audio and utilize the latest LC3 Bluetooth codec, promising significantly reduced latency. This means that users can connect the case to various devices like Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck over USB-C and experience perfect audio synchronization at all times.

While the outer design of the Elite 10 and Elite 8 Gen 2 remains unchanged, there are notable improvements in their functionality. The Elite 10 Gen 2 feature a semi-open design for a more natural feel in the ear, while the Elite 8 Gen 2 offer a durable IP68 dust and water resistance rating, along with MIL-STD-810h ruggedization. Jabra has also enhanced the head tracking and Dolby Atmos spatial audio experience for the Elite 10 Gen 2, in addition to upgrading the active noise cancellation and transparency mode for both earbuds.

The key selling point of these new Jabra earbuds is the LE Audio charging case. This functional add-on allows users to seamlessly transmit audio from external devices to the earbuds, eliminating latency issues and ensuring a smooth listening experience. This innovative feature sets Jabra apart from its competitors and provides clear use cases for consumers.

The Elite 10 Gen 2 earbuds are priced at $279, while the Elite 8 Gen 2 are available at a slightly lower price of $229. Both models will be released in mid-June in a variety of colors, catering to different preferences. Consumers can look forward to experiencing the enhanced features and technology offered by these new Jabra earbuds.

Jabra’s latest earbuds, the Elite 10 and Elite 8 Gen 2, offer an impressive array of features and technology upgrades. From improved sound quality and noise cancellation to the innovative LE Audio charging case, these earbuds are designed to enhance the overall audio experience for users. With a focus on functionality and practicality, Jabra has created a compelling product that is sure to appeal to audiophiles and tech enthusiasts alike.
