Upon installing the next-gen update for Fallout 4, players will be introduced to a new quest called All Hallows’ Eve. This quest involves tracing a mysterious radio signal to Boston and investigating the New England Technocrat Society. However, things take a turn when you stumble upon a group of feral ghouls guarding a locked door with a keypad. The key to unlocking this door lies in finding the All Hallows’ Eve password.
Getting Started on the Quest
To initiate the All Hallows’ Eve quest, players must tune in to the new Mysterious Signal broadcast on their Pip-Boy and follow the marker that appears on the map. This will lead you to the Harbormaster Hotel in Boston, to the east of Diamond City. Upon entering the hotel, you will encounter a group of feral ghouls that you must defeat before proceeding further into the New England Technocrat Society.
Once inside the main room of the society, you will face off against a group of feral ghouls. It is recommended to head up the stairs to the right upon entering and use the balcony to take out the ghouls from a safe distance. After defeating the initial wave of ghouls, a tougher boss named Mr. Wendt will spawn. Focus on eliminating him quickly to prevent him from resurrecting the other ghouls.
After clearing out the enemies, you will come across a hallway with four numbered doors, followed by a locked door with a keypad. To find the All Hallows’ Eve password, you must locate Dr. Santiago, a ghoul wearing a Jack O’Lantern mask. Remove the mask from Dr. Santiago and wear it yourself. Follow the quest marker to Lana’s Notes and read them for clues on the password based on the items found in each room.
Discovering the Password
According to Lana’s Notes, the password is a combination of the number of specific items found in each room. Room 1 contains Specimen Jars, Room 2 has Skull Candles, Room 3 contains Teddy Bears, and Room 4 houses Jack-O’-Lanterns. By counting the items in each room, you will come up with the code “4346.” Enter this code into the keypad to unlock the room and access the System Controls.
Inside the locked room, you will find the System Controls which allow you to disable the system and open the safe. Be sure to also check the desk to the left of the terminal, where you will discover the Picket Fences Halloween Special magazine. This magazine will provide you with a selection of Halloween-themed settlement decorations to add to your inventory.
Finding the Fallout 4 All Hallows’ Eve password is essential to progressing through this intriguing quest. By following the clues and cracking the code, players will be rewarded with unique items and the satisfaction of completing a challenging task within the game.
