Bandai Namco has announced an exciting collaboration with Hello Kitty, bringing fans a delightful collection of new Hello Kitty-themed Tamagotchi devices. Included in this collaboration are two adorable Tamagotchi Nanos and an updated version of the Tamagotchi Uni. The Tamagotchi Nanos will feature the iconic characters from the Tamagotchi universe but with a fun Hello Kitty twist. Players will be able to nurture their virtual pets by feeding them Hello Kitty’s favorite foods such as milk and apple pie. Hello Kitty herself will lend a helping hand by assisting players in keeping their Tamagotchi’s room clean and taking it on exciting trips. With seven different adult forms to discover, including two exclusive to the Hello Kitty Tamagotchis, fans will have plenty of opportunities for unique gameplay experiences. The new Hello Kitty Tamagotchi Nanos will be available for purchase on July 9 in vibrant red and blue shell designs, each priced at $20.
Introducing the Tamagotchi Uni x Sanrio Characters
In addition to the charming Tamagotchi Nanos, Bandai Namco is also launching a new version of the Tamagotchi Uni featuring Hello Kitty and other beloved Sanrio characters. This innovative device offers a fresh take on the classic Tamagotchi experience, incorporating modern elements such as a color screen, expanded mini-games, and internet connectivity. Players can now share their virtual critter’s style and adventures in the “Tamaverse,” adding a new layer of social interaction to the gameplay. Unlike traditional keychain designs, the Tamagotchi Uni x Sanrio Characters boasts a stylish wristwatch-like appearance, complete with a pink watch band and Hello Kitty-themed shell. Collecting costumes and in-game items inspired by Hello Kitty and other Sanrio mascots will allow players to customize their Tamagotchi’s appearance and explore endless creative possibilities. The Tamagotchi Uni x Sanrio Characters will hit shelves on July 12, with a retail price of $70.
Exploring the World of Hello Kitty Tamagotchi
While these new devices mark the latest collaboration between Bandai Namco and Hello Kitty, they are not the first Hello Kitty Tamagotchi devices to be released.
