The much-anticipated crossover event between Final Fantasy 14 and the upcoming single-player RPG, Final Fantasy 16, is finally here. Fans of both games have been eagerly awaiting this moment, and tomorrow, they will get a chance to experience the unique content that this crossover has to offer.

The announcement of the FFXIV/FFXVI crossover event was made by Naoki ‘Yoshi-P’ Yoshida, the director of Final Fantasy 14 and the producer of Final Fantasy 16, during last year’s Final Fantasy Fan Fest in London. This event has been the talk of the town ever since, and fans have been speculating about what to expect from this exciting collaboration.

Players participating in the crossover event can expect to unlock a range of exciting rewards, including a cute minion, a unique mount, and Clive-cleavage armor inspired by the protagonist of Final Fantasy 16, Clive Rosfield. Additionally, there will be a Clive Triple Triad card and orchestration rolls featuring the music from Final Fantasy 16, composed by Masayoshi Soken.

The level 50 quest, titled “The Path Infernal,” draws inspiration from Clive’s connection to the fire deity Ifrit. Players will embark on a thrilling adventure filled with challenges and surprises, all while immersing themselves in the world of Final Fantasy 16. The quest is available until May 8th, giving players a limited window to complete it and earn the exclusive gear.

To begin the crossover event, players can find the starting quest, “A Land on Fire,” in Ul’dah’s Steps of Nald. However, participants must be at least level 50 and have completed the main scenario quest, “The Ultimate Weapon,” which signals the end of the base game, A Realm Reborn. Once these requirements are met, players can dive into the exciting world of the FFXIV/FFXVI crossover.

The Final Fantasy 14 and Final Fantasy 16 crossover event is a must-play for fans of both games. With unique rewards, an engaging questline, and ties to the upcoming single-player RPG, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all participants. Don’t miss your chance to embark on the Path Infernal and immerse yourself in the magical world of Final Fantasy.
