Nintendo’s Partner Showcase recently made an exciting announcement that has Star Wars fans buzzing with anticipation – the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection is coming to the Nintendo Switch. This collection not only brings back the original Battlefront games but also includes new content and characters, such as the addition of Kit Fisto.

File Size and Content

For those wondering about the logistics, the US and UK eShop listings have revealed that the estimated file size for Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection on the Switch will be 25.4GB. This revamped collection includes both STAR WARS Battlefront (Classic) and STAR WARS Battlefront II, each with their own bonus maps and heroes.

The Classic Collection includes the original STAR WARS Battlefront game with a bonus map featuring Jabba’s Palace. Additionally, STAR WARS Battlefront II comes with bonus maps like Bespin: Cloud City, Rhen Var: Harbor, Rhen Var: Citadel, and Yavin 4: Arena. Players can also look forward to playing as bonus heroes Asajj Ventress and Kit Fisto.

Star Wars enthusiasts will have the opportunity to engage in mass-scale battles with up to 64 players online. However, to access this feature, players will need to have a Switch Online base tier subscription. While there has been no physical release announced for the game yet, there is the possibility of one in the future.
