The latest update for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has brought bug fixes and a much-needed balancing patch for the game. This news is certainly welcomed by players who are actively engaging with the live service hero-brawler. However, it may not be as reassuring for those experiencing difficulty accessing the game due to ongoing login issues and server problems.

Rocksteady, the developers of the game, have stated that addressing login and server issues is their top priority at the moment. In a developer update released on February 16th, they acknowledge the complexity of the problems by stating, “This is the top priority for us.” They emphasize that these issues are not simple to resolve, as they are comprised of several smaller problems affecting different players in various ways. They urge players to be patient and to provide additional information through Customer Support to assist in resolving these issues.

The update also explains why Rocksteady opted to apply other fixes and a balance patch before tackling the login and server issues head-on. They clarify that balancing changes can be made by design teams without requiring extensive code support, unlike the login problems and server issues. The post highlights that the development teams are concurrently working on different tasks, including various fixes and balance adjustments, to enhance different aspects of the game.

Moreover, the update outlines upcoming balance changes aimed at making more in-game items viable in the endgame content. These modifications are intended to motivate players to diversify their builds and experiment with new strategies. While these changes may seem sensible on the surface, they reflect underlying design choices in the game that deter some players from engaging with Suicide Squad.

Steve Hogarty critiqued the game in his review, stating that although there is potential for an excellent single-player action experience within Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, it is overshadowed by repetitive and uninspiring gameplay mechanics. The excessive focus on loot collection and grinding detracts from the overall enjoyment of the game, making it less appealing to a broader audience.

While the recent updates and patches for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League aim to address existing issues and enhance the gameplay experience, there are still underlying design flaws that hinder the game’s potential. Players and developers alike must continue to work together to identify and rectify these issues to create a more immersive and enjoyable gaming experience for all.
