“When we created the very first game, our original intention was to feature Van Damme as the main character. At the time, Van Damme was the talk of the town, thanks to movies like Bloodsport and Universal Soldier. We reached out to his team, expressing our desire to develop a game based on his persona, but unfortunately, our attempts did not succeed. It seemed unlikely that Van Damme would agree to collaborate with a couple of ambitious young game developers. However, luck was on our side this time, and we finally managed to secure his participation. We are thrilled to announce that we not only have his likeness but also his voice. Van Damme will now be immortalized as the character Johnny Cage.”
